Silverwoods Accountants & Advisors is a small boutique accounting firm dedicated to providing quality, efficient and proactive service to high net worth individuals and, where appropriate, their business entities.
At Silverwoods we work closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met. Our area of expertise includes taxation advice for individuals, partnerships, companies, family trusts and self-managed superannuation funds. We also attend to compliance requirements for our clients to minimise the administrative burdens and ensure deadlines are met on a timely basis.
The practice comprises the two principals, Bruce Silverwood and Bruno DAngelo as well as excellent, dedicated and long-serving support staff Kylie Jackson and Bianca Barnes.
Bruce left Price Waterhouse as a senior tax manager in 1988 having also worked in the audit, business services and liquidation sections of that firm. Bruce has worked with Bruno DAngelo since 1988 and been in partnership with him since 1993.
Bruno qualified as an accountant in 1983 and has been in the profession ever since, working for former Price Waterhouse managers prior to entering into partnership with Bruce.
Bruce and Bruno were both qualified financial planners for some period and conducted a financial planning practice concurrently with their accounting practice until this was sold to a public company.
The firm aims at providing personalised partner service to assist clients in meeting their objectives and solving their problems.
We have an excellent external support network as back up to our internal resources. We also like to act as a facilitator to ensure client needs are actioned and resolved particularly in the areas of:-
- wills and powers of attorney,
- establishment of self managed super funds, and
- accessing benefits through the provision of retirement income streams
